After only a few feature stories it became clear to the Editors of the respective magazines, that Carrie had the unique ability to not only design a beautiful space, but to be able to bring these creations to life in photographs. The art of decorating and styling might seem to be intertwined, but, in reality, they are somewhat different skills. The camera sees a space much differently than it is experienced in person through our senses, so in order for the photographer to be able to truly capture and convey the essence of design, a stylist and producer is needed to artfully bring the camera and design together.
